What a pity the wiredlearning videos cannot load up on the kcc laptop. I will have to invest in another one so I don't have to surf at the desk. Gets expensive!

Could not find the photofonia site so Mona Lisa had to be the original instead of MY face!

Thanks Mike,
I hope this takes off as I could do with some new friends. Although my wife start to worry about the amount of time I spend in the clouds.

Thanks again for providing an excellent forum for the conference, NING is a brilliant tool for this kind of social networking and is easily used with young people who seem to instinctively know how to use it. I have created some links to support my morning keynote and some useful links to wired teachers and my radio station. Once again, I hope that your session goes well and that you get lots of activity on here afterwards and perhaps even during your talk.
Best wishes

Very kind of you to suggest that, yes I will do that together with a link and some resources that I will be using in my talk. I won't be around for your talk at the end of the day, I am sorry I would have loved to hear you speak. I am hosting a conference in Bedruthan in Cornwall the next day.

Terry has a chat with Edith, a 14 year-old girl in England, explains why she thinks she is being 'under-taught' as far as ICT (educational technology) is concerned, and what she thinks teachers should do about it.

Matthew Needleman on video

Do take some time to take a look at Matt's great work with video. He really makes the point that writing with video can be the only success some children get and the only piece of writing they are proud of.

His 'Video in the classroom' is also well worth a look

Here's a great app for recording and uploading on site, with photos, if required. the App also geolocates, so viewers will see where you were recording - sweet.

It makes you think

Take a look at Sarah's video she made on making banana bread. She's just 8 years old and shows how comfortable she is with the technology. She not only prepared and scripted this, but also did the editing and music. Her dad is Wes Fryer, but I still think we need to think very high for our young people in schools as to what they can do, given the opportunities. Check out their blog, Learning signs - our family
